week 2 : find a need which you think that it really need your help ...
week 3 : research on the needs
week 4 : do a mood board on the target user
week 5 : find out which part did your need fall into ( The pies)
week 6: find and collect all your research together
weel 7 :find out where does your product might be the most useful
weel 8 : design and make a ...
your week 5: why do you need to find out which part your NEED fall into? what is the purpose of knowing PIES and how do we use it to analyze NEEDs?

lastly, week 7 :find out where does your product might be the most useful....
i don't really understand this... when you start with a problem; you would have a user, the environment and a NEED in mind... you can still manipulate the user, environment and need anytime in the design process... but you don't have to exactly think of the product ASAP right? always think of the NEED and CONCEPT SOLUTION first...thinking of a PRODUCT too early may narrow your thinking... what do you think?
